From November 2007 to February 2008, I took part in an international online community that was part photography, part beard growing competition.Ridiculous? Definitely. But in the best way. During the 4 months of no-shaving, participants were required to post photographs of themselves to show the progress of their beard growth as well as to demonstrate their creativity. I created a film noir series with myself as the main character. I'm not a great actor by nature, so the subject is the biggest problem I have looking back... but I still had a lot of fun taking these photos.
